Kyoubai is Live!
We’re delighted to announce that Kyoubai, the official Forumwarz auction house, is live!
To celebrate its birth, we’ve seeded it with two special auctions. Note that for the following links to work, you must have a bookmark to Kyoubai. The quest begins around level 5. All players who meet the criteria for Kyoubai should have a tubmail that opens up system.
Wireless Headset – Currently the most powerful item in the game.
Custom E-Peen(tm) Voucher – Whomever wins this auction will have the ability to create a custom E-Peen(tm).
As always, we’re looking for feedback to improve this product over time. Give it a whirl and let us know what you think.
Make an option to check the items you’re currently bidding on. I bookmark them with my browser, which is not too elegant.

Great new feature.
One suggestion; please make us able to watch a product.
I bookmark like Aldo, but it becomes a pain.
Keep up the great work. š

I submitted a Maximum Bid of 603,288 Flezz on an Auction (which at the time was all of my Flezz). The Actual Bid showing was 248,873 (with the note that I was ready to bid up to that Maximum Amount). Apparently, the minimum reserve was not met for the Auction, so my money was refunded. But Kyoubai only refunded me the 248,873, not my full Maximum Bid.
That’s a ‘Flezz Sink’ of $$354415.
I’ve already sent in a Bug Report, but this is to warn the rest of you to watch your Spendfriend accounts closely.

This is a fantastic new feature. My only gripes are that you can’t track auctions you’ve bid on, and that it’s not made clear that buyout prices (and to a lesser extent reserves) aren’t immediately shown to be optional. At first, it seems like a buy out set at zero will immediately be sold after the hour.
Still, this is cool stuff. Good Luck with the rest of 2009’s updates!

Along the same lines as the first two comments, it would be nice if the refund message on your Character screen told you which item you were outbid on. If the message also contained a link back to the same auction, that would be basically killer.

Can you consolidate some of those check boxes so that you don’t have to check/uncheck so many at one time?
