Site Updates – Mar 18
New Stuff
-
The character selection screen lists your visits left for each character.
-
You can sort your Bookmark / Forums tab by difficulty. In fact, this is now the default setting.
-
Added your forumbuildr voting ratio to your vitals on your profile. Note that it only takes into account recent activity. You can get a good idea of how accurate the number is based on how many votes were counted in creating the ratio.
-
The domination scoreboard can now be sorted
New Stuff (Searching)
-
You can now run a full-text search Flamebate using the handy search button
-
You can view all posts by a particular user from a link under the Flamebate section on their profile
-
There is also an atom feed you can subscribe to in your favorite newsreader if you want to keep up with all posts by a particular user. Here’s my feed for example.
Bug Fixes
-
Email / Add friend buttons on profile page no longer look weird when they wrap
-
Added some small fixes to improve performance on the database side of things
Maybe it’s my RSS acting up, but your feed has 0 items…?

It’s Atom, not RSS. Same function, different languages. See if Firefox opens it.

"You can view all posts by a particular user from a link under the Flamebate section on their profile"
When I click the link in my profile, only a fraction of my total posts are displayed. There’s no page numbers, either.

Sorry, Atom. To me, a feed is a feed. :p
Anyways, it just took a while to update (or something).

I’ve fixed the feed problem. I didn’t think to make the pages unauthenticated 🙂
Also Corion, I forgot the pagination on that search page. It’s there now.

By the way, I LIKE the Atom feed for a player’s news. Makes it that much easier to spy on somebody with a public profile. Muehehe.

"Also Corion, I forgot the pagination on that search page. It’s there now." Awesome. Thanks. I figured it was something like that, so I started typing ?page=2 and whatnot after the url.

Good round of updates.
Specifically the constant work on the dominations side if things.
It really makes the end game fun.
