Vanilla: Nerfed

written by Evil Trout on March 19th, 2008 @ 04:41 PM

Tonight we've nerfed the way vanilla scoops are given out to Klans in raids.

The details are in this post on Flamebate.

Here's the thread where people are discussing it.

Thanks for implementing the opt-in raid system; that’s really going to help out with some of the larger klans. I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest about the vanilla nerfing either; were were scoring entirely too many scoops/raid.

    Really, just concurring with Virtual_Eyes.

A 2 hr limit seems a bit short but workable.

I don’t really see why only officers can start a raid.

3 am slow turnover, a few people get together to do a raid and no officers present. Nixes that.

Because otherwise some dumbass would start a raid like an hour and a half before your planned one so you’d have to wait half an hour.

The only thing I could see working as an in-between is if when 12 forums are pwned without a raid on, the members involved are automatically entered into like a 30 minute raid group.

lulz56, like Sancdar said, it’s to prevent situations that you really don’t want to occur.

My best suggestion for your late night raid idea is to have your Klan elect more officers they trust who could start the raid.
